Paddle Florida is a non-profit organization dedicated to water conservation, wildlife preservation, springs restoration, and waterways protection in Florida. The vehicle for carrying out our mission is the staging of supported multi-day paddling trips in each of Florida's five water management districts each year. Paddle Florida staff scouts trip routes, makes all camping arrangements, provides paddling guides, transports gear to each day's campsite, and provides three meals per day, leaving paddlers the freedom to immerse themselves in beautiful natural surroundings and make new friends. Nightly entertainment around the campfire includes regional artists, musicians, authors, and educators who highlight Florida's cultural and natural history. Our trip season runs from October through April, peak time for enjoying Florida's pristine rivers, springs, and coastal environments. Previous trips have included 3-day to week-long paddles of many rivers (Suwannee, Peace, Wekiva, St. Johns, Ochlockonee, Withlacoochee, Rainbow) as well as the Florida Keys.
