Holiday (and Everyday!) Shopping at Base and Range in Madison, Florida

Welcome to Madison, one of Natural North Florida’s most scenic small towns.  Located in Madison County, just south of the Florida/Georgia line, Madison is an exciting place to spend a day of holiday (or any day!) shopping and dining.

Expect bargains galore, year-round, at Madison’s many antique shops!

Even if you don’t make it to Madison before Christmas there’s still lots to see and do there. At the center of town, at the corner of Base Street and Range Avenue, so-named from the original surveys of the county, you’ll find the Madison County Courthouse and Four Freedoms Park.
In the surrounding blocks, you’ll find several excellent restaurants–some serving fine Mexican food (Rancho Grande) and others serving down-home favorites (The Corner Grill).  And if you’re into a vast buffet, don’t miss O’Neal’s Country Buffet, just west of downtown!

For a closer look at the history of Madison and North Florida, visit the Madison County Museum, just across from the Courthouse at 200 SW Range Avenue.
