Located southwest of Bronson, Devil’s Hammock WMA gives riders the opportunity to experience a tranquil, natural environment. While on the tract, expect to ride through mixed hardwood forest, bottomland forest, floodplain swamp and pine plantation on old logging trails. The Otter Creek Trail (marked with yellow diamonds) is an out-and-back trail into the swamp; the Bear Foot Trail (marked with red diamonds) is a 4-mile loop trail.

Directions:
The Devil's Hammock tract is located in Levy County southwest of Bronson on SR 24 and the Waccasassa River. The District and Levy County co-manage Devil's Hammock as one tract.

Access to the Devil's Hammock tract from Bronson:
Travel west on SR 24 and the tract is on the right. There are four entrances into the property: the southwest trailhead entrance, the Parker Field entrance, the river camp entrance, and the hunter check station entrance.

Access to the county portion of Devil's Hammock from Bronson:
Travel west on ALT US 27, turn left on NE 94th Place; follow the road to the dead end at Blue Springs Park.
