Join us for the Annual Sopchoppy Depot Days, a celebration of our community and the historic Sopchoppy Depot — the last remaining depot on the Georgia, Florida & Alabama (GF&A) line still standing in Florida.
Enjoy a day filled with local heritage, family fun, and small-town charm.
Event highlights:
Roads & Rails Classic Car Parade at 10 AM down Rose Street. People's Choice trophies for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Free to enter — sign up by Sept 9 on our Facebook page.
Model Railroad display by the Big Bend Model Railroad Association in the Towles House.
Local vendors, artisan crafts, and food trucks.
DJ Butch spinning classic oldies and MCing the parade and car show.
The Sopchoppy Depot Museum will be open with historical exhibits and artifacts.
Depot Park offers walking paths, wildflower gardens, a playground, pavilions, and a covered stage.
Visit unique local shops like Sand and Soul Designs, 118 Vintage & Vain, CIVIC Brewery, Sopchoppy Bakehouse, The Loafers Bench, and more.
Proceeds from vendor fees and merchandise support community projects and nonprofits like Friends of the Sopchoppy River, helping expand river access and the Florida Paddling Trail.
