The annual Down Home Days in downtown Madison features an old-fashioned Festival from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. with a lively Parade at 10 a.m. led by law enforcement vehicles and fire trucks. The Jeeps join the Parade to stack on each other’s wheels - a must see! Look for the BMX Stunt Cyclists, Becky’s Dance Steps Studio performing at the Courthouse Annex, hilarious Frog Hop contest, North Florida Community College 1k and 5k walk/runs, plus festival foods and arts/crafts booths along U.S. Highway 90 and SW Range Avenue. Stay overnight Thursday night to watch the Pet Contest at 6 p.m. at Four Freedoms Park. Madison Church of Christ's Gospel Sing is Friday night at 7 p.m. with all acapella music. All events are free.
