Festival of Lights

Add To Trip Planner

Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park and the Stephen Foster Citizens Support Organization, will illuminate the park with holiday lights once again! We will continue the rebuilding by constantly working to evolve the Festival, keeping it fresh and enjoyable for all. On select nights we are still the well-loved family tradition of the classic Festival of Holiday Magic Nights! Featuring free hot cocoa, popcorn, marshmallow roasting, bonfire, craft activities, snow flurries, train display, Gift Shop, music in the Tower and of course Santa! During the week we have Silent Nights; a great opportunity for enjoying the lights at your leisure. Silent nights are perfect for photo opportunities. Silent nights do not have the same features at Holiday Magic Nights. The last ticket sold and the entry gates will close at 8:30 p.m. every night of the Festival Gift Shop hours 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The popular, month-long family event includes illuminated displays, a train display, and music from the 200-foot carillon tower. There are plenty of activities for the kids, including bonfires and marshmallow roasting, crafting, and a visit with Santa Claus.

Enjoy a free cup of hot cocoa and bag of popcorn as you stroll through the park, on the lawn of the plantation-style museum, under illuminated live oak trees, and through candy cane forest.
