Christmas on the Square

Every year, the first weekend of December, The Suwannee County Chamber of Commerce hosts Christmas on the Square.  This year we will celebrate our 35th year!

The festivities begin on Thursday night, December 5th, with the Jingle Bell Fun Run & Walk.  After the Fun Run, Mayor Davis will light the Christmas Tree in Millennium Park.  After the tree lighting ceremony join us at Heritage Square to enjoy cookies and hot chocolate, and there will be an entire evening of entertainment for all ages.

Friday, December 6th, at 4:00 p.m. our arts and craft vendors along with our food vendors will be open to welcome you to Christmas on the Square.  We will have a live band, great food, bounce houses, kid slides, Santa Land and we have been told there is 100% chance of snow that evening.  Also on Friday night in Santa Land, Coca Cola will be bringing presents for Santa to pass out!  Then, of course you don't want to miss the grand finale, our professional fireworks show!

Early Saturday morning, December 7th, downtown Live Oak is again filled with arts and crafts vendors, dozens of different food vendors, a car show, an agriculture exhibit, Santa Land and live entertainment at Millennium Park.  Then to end the entire weekend, the Parade will be Saturday night.

So, mark your calendar now and be a part of the Christmas on the Square weekend. Begin preparing your heart for the holiday spirit!?
