Christmas on the Square
Christmas on the Square in Live Oak, FL is one of the largest Christmas arts and crafts festivals in the Southeast. The festivities begin on Thursday night with The Jingle Bell Fun Run/Walk through downtown Live Oak, the Christmas Tree Lighting and Santas arrival. There will also be popcorn, cookies, and hot chocolate and a Christmas movie for the kids.
On Friday in downtown Live Oak we will host an evening filled with arts and craft vendors, live music, food vendors, dancing, and bounce houses. There is also a 100% chance of snow! We will have snow slides and snow piles for the kids.
Early Saturday morning downtown Live Oak is filled with arts and crafts vendors, dozens of different food vendors, a car show, an agriculture exhibit and live entertainment at Millennium Park. We host over 300 vendors offering arts and crafts, handcrafted woodworks, quilts, furniture and much more. As visitors progress through the arts and crafts booths, they cant resist the smell of the delicious and diverse foods in the food court.
Once the sun goes down and the vendors pack up their booths, the day isnt over yet. The stars of this show are just making their way down Ohio Avenue to shine in the Annual Christmas Parade of lights. Numerous floats are entered every year and young and old alike delight in the spectacular and dazzling displays of lighted mobile creativity.
