Treehouse on the Santa Fe River
“Camp” a step above in Club Florida’s unique yurt. A yurt is an indigenous Mongolian dwelling, as seen in the film The Weeping Camel, comparable to an American Indian’s teepee. The Yurt Treehouse is sited on the edge of a deep quarry, which fills and drains along with the Santa Fe River’s level. It is nestled in the midst of the Gilchrist County’s woodlands, rising 24 feet in the midst of swaying trees. Step up to view life among the trees, and step above primitive camping in this protected, screened wood-hut. Hop on one of their unique hydro bikes, which are two kayak-like pontoons that support a bicycle as it glides above the water. Peddle on the Ichetucknee & Santa Fe rivers. Exercise while having complete, pollution free contact with the environment.
