Fall Farm & Cane Festival
Celebrate the region's pioneering past by watching some of the areas rural life style. See an original Florida working farm from the post Civil War to the 1940s. The Park Service commemorates Ms. Myrtle Dudleys birthday by grinding sugar cane and boiling it into cane syrup.
Farm tours, domestic crafts, childrens activities and toys, music and vendors are featured on this living history day. Demonstrators will be showcasing Floridas traditions of yesteryear. Dudley Farm Historic State Park, 352-472-1142, 12/2, 9 am to 3 pm, $8 per vehicle.
