Watermelon Festival
Watermelons are a rich part of Jefferson Countys economic and agricultural history. The whole town gets together to celebrate in the summers, and weve been doing this for over six decades now. We are already thinking about how to make the 2018 event better than ever.
Whether you want to participate in the Watermelon Pageants, watch the annual parade, join the Car Show, or just eat a bunch of home-grown melons, the Monticello-Jefferson Chamber is the place to start. The Festival is always the 3rd weekend in June 2018 will be June 15 & 16
