The collections at Goodwood reflect a variety of eras and tastes. For different reasons, from the middle of the 19th century on, the owners of Goodwood left their furniture, furnishings and many of their personal effects behind when vacating the property. As a result, the integrity of the collections at Goodwood is extraordinary. For those interested in the fine furniture, porcelain, textiles, glassware, art and more there is a treat waiting for you. Meeks, Belter, Phyfe, Baccarat, Tiffany and more are represented in this collection.
Goodwood is extremely fortunate to be able to accurately represent the interior of the Main House in its earlier twentieth century appearance due to an extensive photograph library. As guests tour the Main House, the rooms are displayed just as they were in the years surrounding World War I.
