Suwannee Valley Quilt and Old Time Craft Festival
Trenton's Suwannee Valley Quilt Festival will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2013 from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM in historic downtown Trenton, Florida. This outdoor festival will be centered around Trenton’s turn-of-the-Century Railroad Depot. Over 500 quilts will be on display both inside and outside many historic buildings on Main Street. Main Street itself will be closed to traffic to accommodate Antique Autos and Tractors that will be on display.

Some of the Quilt Groups displaying their quilts are: The Country Roads Quilters (Marion County), Springhouse Quilters (Gilchrist County), Joyful Hearts & the Beachville Belles, Tree City Quilt Guild ( Gainesville), Anthony Quilt And Go Quilters (outside Ocala) High Springs Sewing Society (High Springs), Dixieland Quilters (Old Town), Log Cabin Quilters (Levy County), Fort White Quilting Sisters, Christian Quilt Club of Interlachen, Alachua County Day Guild, Fowler's Bluff Quilters, Madd Hatters of Donnie Springs, The Fiber Art Bees (Gainesville), Inglis Sew & Sews (Inglis), The Heart-in-Hand Quilters (Crystal River), The Kalico Kwilters Guild (Archer), and the Springhouse 4-H Quilting Campers.

The Featured Quilt Group at the Old Railroad Depot this year is the Fiber Art Bees from Gainesville. There will be Quilt Demonstrations at the Old Railway Depot, live music provided by Amos and the Philman family and you can check out dozens of "Crafters" down the trail just past the Depot. There is something for everyone!
