The Visit Natural North Florida Biking Guide is online and ready to use. You can read it online, or download it as a PDF. It features 26 one-day cycling trips and 2 multi-day trips, all linked to the RIDE WITH GPS app that’s available for smartphones or certain Garmin GPS units. To use the app, you’ll have to “join” the VNNF BIKE CLUB (It’s free!). It’s easy to use and you’ll have access to the routes through our region.
Our 13-county region is cyclist-friendly, and the routes take you through backwoods and small historic towns. You’ll see the Gulf of Mexico at places like Yankeetown, Suwannee, Cedar Key, Horseshoe Beach, Jena, Steinhatchee, Keaton Beach, St. Marks and Panacea. You’ll cycle through inland towns like Gainesville, Lake Butler, White Springs, Ft. White, Mayo, Perry, Bronson, Lake City, Hawthorne and Melrose. And you’ll have the opportunity to see rivers like the Suwannee and Santa Fe, as well as some of the many springs described in our Ultimate Springs Guide.
