The Farm and Forest Festival Returns to Morningside Nature Center Saturday, April 24, 2010
Admission to the festival is $5 for adults and $3 for children ages 3 to 12. Admission is free for children under 3.
The Farm and Forest Festival is the largest festival at Morningside Nature Center Living History Farm. The Festival, which takes place on April 24th, highlights North Central Florida rural life in 1870. Visitors can experience historic-breed farm animals, hear period music, and observe traditional crafts and trades such as spinning, weaving, and woodstove cooking. Horse-drawn wagon rides and crafts add to the merriment of this family-friendly event!
